The duration of the course is 2 years for those who have completed their XII class(PCM) or ITI. Those who have completed their matriculation have to undergo 3-year studies.

After completion of the course, there is provision to get in to the 2nd year of B.Tech degree through lateral entry. This will improve the career prospect of the candidate to a great extent.
